« We stay at this hotel in a visit to murphys California, this hotel is very easy to find next to the road. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious. I believe that they are working on renovation of some rooms but it's a great place to stay. Very closer from the main street of murphys downtown. »

« The motel was wonderful. Breakfast left everyone in the room a bit ill. You could tell a mouse had been tunneling through the raisin bran cereal. There were two definite tunnels that could be seen through the clear plastic containers that could only have been made by an animal. Everyone was talking about it. No one ate cereal!!! The mouse must have been removed but the cereal was still put out for customers to eat. Sad. »

« With the mosaics on the entry floor this property was once a gem. It has not been updated and looks like it has been run down for years. This is the second time I came. After seeing the underlying bed sheets stained so badly i didn’t stay but I had little choice this time since I booked through Expedia and paid already. Sad the owners can’t invest and invest and modernize this great property. Additionally the window curtains are badly stained and the breakfast serves a paucity of choices. On the...

« This review will most likely never be posted. I made the reservation through a third party travel site. When I checked in I asked if AAA or AARP or other affiliations would mean a discount. I was told NO as they only provided discounts for reservations that are made directly with Granzellas and they gave me a scan code to use next time. We like the hotel and location. Next time I will contact the hotel directly. »

« This was a one-night stopover in a longer road trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. The restaurant next door is a big bonus. However, I wish there were more vegetarian options. »
