This is a lovely spot in a gorgeous island neighborhood near Port Townsend. We appreciated the option to bring our dog; liked the option of a beautiful inside space for evenings. The very special house is made of found building materials used in unconventional ways. No rooster during our stay. No hot tub option in fire danger season (even if we brought required fuel and had several hours for fire to be ready). After reading the details we tried using the place for dry camping - bringing our own drinking water, potable cooking/dishwash water and set up, rodent-proof food storage, and outside sleeping spaces (car, tent). We left after Night 2 of 5 b/c: full portapotty; heavy smell of sewer gas in our car/tent sleeping area NIght 2; each time we used house we saw rodents running along kitchen walls and/or in living room rafters at level of loft bed; glamping guests close by had open campfire (?). Host has no-refund policy; no reply. Echo other reviewers: understand what is/isn't provided before going. Definitely an experience in"life's rich pageant," as Inspector Clouseau says.
