Hotel Floride du Nord-Ouest

« During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). « The rooms were nice. However, the AC in window had dust and debris, and there were roaches near the fridge and counter area. I saw two, but never saw them again after putting my food away from the counter. They definitely could’ve crawled in my food if I didn’t notice them sooner. The ceilings had some leak spots but no leaks. The shower floor was stained or not the cleanest. The curtain was also a bit torn and stained. I could hear a baby crying all night in the room next to me and...

« The view from our balcony and easy access to such a beautiful beach made the whole experience! There's not many food options nearby, and they don't serve breakfast, but the room had a kitchen area for food storage and prep. They also have a lovely gazebo with swings and fire pits for grilling on the beach side. Plan accordingly and you won't regret your stay here! »

Proche de plusieurs restaurants : j ai aimé le Texas Stakhouse de l autre côté de la rue à 3mn à pied des conseils donnés face à l ascenseur pour des activités diverses et variés. Une bonne idée »

« Spacious hotel rooms and comfortable beds. The hallways smelled a little odd, but this is likely because you can cook in some of the rooms / some rooms have stovetops. You can't really control what someone is cooking! They have laundry facilities onsite as well and while I did not use them, they looked clean. The fitness center was very clean as well and they even had a Peloton bike. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Need to upgrade electrical and USB ports. They wouldn't keep phones plugged in. Staff neglected to inform us that the phone only works a certain way in the room. No dial tone. Other than that, everything was fine. »

« L'hôtel est au bord de la I 10 qui est bruyante. De plus, juste devant les chambres, il y a une station service pour poids lourds qui nous ont maintenus réveillé dès 2h30 du matin. L'hôtel en soi est correct mais mal isolé et malgré des boules Kies nous avons très mal dormi. »
