It was was very comfortable, including the king bed, and it had pretty much everything we needed for our stay, including a well equipped kitchen. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location, close to Sleeping Bear dunes, Frankfort and many hiking trails and beaches. The air conditioning was appreciated for some of the hotter days and when air quality was poor due to Canadian wildfires.We hope to be back! »

« This place is perfect! Private access to lake with kayaks right on site. The home is very clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back! »

« The property was spacious and clean, with full kitchen and a wide range of pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. Wifi worked well. The location was awesome, just a short walk to Elk Lake, and a short drive to the village of Elk Rapids, plus Traverse City and the whole wonderful area! Lot's of fruit and pie stands along the roads, and orchards everywhere! »

« Wonderful! Taylor was a kind and thoughtful host. The cottage is perfectly located, cozy, and quiet. The walk to Northport on South Shore is beautiful with views of the lake and wildflowers all along. (We also saw deer, bunnies, and frogs on the two track path.) The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and the deck in front was beautifully landscaped and an excellent place to wind down after a day at the beach. Christmas Cove beach was a short 10min drive as was Green Bird, our favorite...
