Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »

Everything is well-maintained, very clean, and well-provided. The location is indeed secluded, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there to explore the redwoods, which were a relatively short drive, both North and South, so the location worked-out great. »

"The room is very old, with a broken floor and toilet. There is no soundproofing at all—you can hear cars and trucks all night long without stopping. The light outside is extremely bright, so even with the curtains closed, the room stays very well lit at night. It’s really cheap, but you definitely get the night that comes with the price."
