« The food was excellent and the potions enormous. It was rather remote so you needed a car to visit Durham. The park and ride (Belmont) was excellent but you will need sat nav to find it.Uber was £19 to Durham. Most of the staff very friendly a couple not so but didn’t spoil our stay »

« First visit to Bowes incline and won't be the last.If it was on 4 in bed program I could be hyper critical on a couple of issues but I'm not.I always give a fair and balanced review's and this is what I'm doing,first impression of hotel was clean and well maintained,staff on reception were friendly and welcoming explained breakfast set up and evening meals.rooms are small but cozy for two and well appointed .can get a bit noisy in morning when people going for breakfast with doors...
