Nestled along the shores of Somes Sound, Northeast Harbor is a picturesque and upscale village on Mount Desert Island, known for its tranquil beauty, charming harbor, and exclusive summer estates. A favorite destination for wealthy vacationers, including members of the Rockefeller and Astor families, Northeast Harbor has long been a retreat for those seeking privacy and natural beauty.

The town boasts a vibrant yachting and boating community, with a scenic marina serving as a hub for sailors and fishermen alike. Its charming downtown features boutique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafés, offering a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Just minutes from Acadia National Park, Northeast Harbor provides easy access to stunning hikes, such as the Asticou Terraces and Thuya Garden, which showcase beautifully manicured landscapes and breathtaking views of the harbor. The Asticou Azalea Garden, inspired by Japanese design, is another highlight, offering a peaceful escape in every season.
