„I stayed over Christmas with my pup. It was a really large space for the two of us. I like the location, quiet and rural. There aren't any street lamps so once the sun goes down, it's pitch black. Would suggest bringing a headlamp for those with a dog. “

„This place was amazing! Clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. You can't get a better view of Mt. Shasta and about 10 minutes to McCloud falls. Only downside was the town only has places to eat Thursday thru Sunday but Shasta and Dunsmire is pretty close. “

„We had a wonderful stay at this campsite and cabin. There was a great creek on site and a handful of trails to walk around. Both of my kids 8 and 5 had a blast exploring. The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We will definately be visiting again.“

„I loved my stay at Basecamp Lodge (Mount Shasta). I especially appreciated the quietness, beautiful decor, and fully stocked kitchen. The hosts are well organized and reached out on a regular basis making me feel welcome and confident of my stay. In addition, there was a large group at the lodge and I appreciated that their group lead ensured me they would be chill and low-key. (And they were!) Finally, Mount Shasta is an amazing place to visit. I love the trails and the great coffee in town. I ...

„The RV we had reserved did not have a functioning refrigerator so we were "upgraded" to a larger place. It did not have the same amenities as the original place. Instead of a full kitchen, there was a hot plate and tiny microwave. Instead of a dinette table, there was a postage stamp sized table that barely held 2 plates. There was no couch. . The bunk beds were wedged next to the refrigerator so every time the refrigerator kicked on, the sleeper was startled awake. The location itself was quiet ...

„This house was incredibly awesome! The beds were firm and there was plenty of room to spread out. It’s located in a great neighborhood and the backyard is so peaceful. Our family of five would definitely stay here again.“

„Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. “
