« Location is ideal. Room was mostly as advertised. No info about how to operate the TV or the wi fi password in the room. Communication w proprietor was not great. Bathroom had no shower curtain. Beds comfy. Heating worked great. Didn’t try the AC. Frig clean and functional. Nice budget stay for an overnight en route to Mackinac Island. »

« We only needed a clean, comfortable place to rest while driving a long ways and this definitely fit the bill! There is a lot of potential and an outdoor light is needed for late arrivals but very easy and fit our purposes perfectly! »

« After reading the reviews I was a little worried on booking, but I was like hey everyone has a different experience. The house was very clean! Our favorite view was from the backyard/sunroom. Nothing beats that beautiful view! The only thing bad that I have to say is if you like a little night pizza to snack on bring your own pizza cutter! But otherwise our stay was wonderful. The host communicated back with us in a timely manner. I would definitely stay at this location again. »

« The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay. »

« Charming house, great location (walkable distance to the lake and the city center), and super responsive hosts.This house had it all. It was well equipped and had the most comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep.We would definitely book it again! »

« We came to visit and check out one of our adult children’s new town, recently moved to manistee. We had a lot of fun. We were surprised at how well the we all fit in the house with room enough - 6 adults and kids. The two upstairs bedrooms are connected, need to walk through one to get to the other- perfect for mom/dad and kids; we slept in the tiny room downstairs- fits a bed and that’s about it- but we didn’t find it uncomfortable- was okay! « This home is nicely decorated, clean, and conveniently located in town. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and owners went far above with the extra touches. A lot of thought went into making sure renters have a super experience. We didn't have children with us, but kids could be entertained in the house even on a rainy day. Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard while we relaxed by the fire pit. »

The decks looking out over the lake makes this property even more appealing. Easy walk to downtown and the lakefront. Perfect home to escape to while enjoying this charming city.
