„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before. The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. „Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English ...

„Beautiful location and bedrooms. However communal area ie. Accommodation stairs and hallway needs attention. Parking can be an issue as anyone can park in pub carpark for free, just to go to the beach for the day.“

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“

Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.“
