The Space:

This delightful two-bedroom cottage has been stunningly renovated, beautifully blending modern comfort with the charm and character of its original features. Thoughtfully styled throughout, it offers a warm and inviting retreat with elegant interiors and a truly wonderful garden.



The charming living room provides a welcoming space to relax, featuring a stunning fireplace, beautiful wooden flooring, plush comfortable seating and tasteful décor. Large windows bring plenty of natural light into the room, while the fireplace creates a cosy focal point. From here, the cottage flows into a spacious and stylish kitchen, finished with tiled flooring, modern worksurfaces, a striking tiled splashback and attractive wooden shelving. Fully equipped with all the appliances needed for a comfortable self-catering stay, the kitchen combines practicality with character. A staircase leads from the living area to the first floor.



Upstairs, the cottage features two beautifully presented double bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom is filled with natural light from large windows and retains a decorative fireplace, complemented by wooden flooring, a plush bed, comfortable seating and a dressing unit. The second bedroom is equally inviting, with a tastefully styled bed, ample storage and calming neutral tones creating a peaceful atmosphere for a restful night's sleep.

Southrepps is a charming North Norfolk village surrounded by peaceful countryside, traditional homes and quiet lanes. The area is ideal for guests looking for a relaxing rural escape while still being within easy reach of the North Norfolk coast. The village has a welcoming community atmosphere, with local amenities including a village shop and the Vernon Arms, located on Church Street.



Nature lovers can explore Southrepps Common, a beautiful local nature reserve featuring woodland, reedbeds, wetlands and walking paths. It is a lovely spot for gentle walks, wildlife watching and enjoying the surrounding countryside.



The property is also well placed for exploring nearby coastal destinations such as Cromer, Overstrand and Mundesley, while attractions including National Trust - Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate and National Trust - Sheringham Park are within the wider North Norfolk area.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring the wider North Norfolk area, although there are local public transport options. The nearest bus stop is Vernon Arms on Chapel Street, approximately 100 metres from the postcode, making local bus travel convenient.



Gunton railway station is around 1.5 km away, with Roughton Road and Cromer stations further afield.



Guests can also use local walking routes to explore Southrepps and the surrounding countryside. Norfolk's transport planner provides up-to-date information on local buses, rail services and community transport.



Other Things to Note:

Silk Weaver’s Cottage is a dog-friendly property and welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs, so your four-legged companions can join you during your stay.

Please note that the cottage features traditional Norfolk winder stairs. These stairs are narrower and steeper than standard staircases and may not be suitable for small children, elderly guests, or guests with limited mobility. We kindly ask guests to take extra care when using the stairs and consider this feature when deciding whether the property is suitable for their needs.

The back bedroom is furnished with a small double bed, which is slightly narrower than a standard double bed. Please keep this in mind when planning your sleeping arrangements.
