« This place is even more beautiful than I thought it would be! It was perfect for us, who are avid campers and love living outdoors. The cabin is located on the top of a hill (about 30 steps down to the beach). There are 2 other cabins at the top of the hill. One is directly beside this cabin, which hinders the privacy. The other place is pretty hidden by the trees. We had complete privacy during the week, but not on the weekend. At night we walked the beach with flashlights and we saw a sea...

« My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Escondido. We saw many different types of wildlife such as the Coati, Walking Stick Bug, Bats, Giant Red-Winged Grasshopper and the Howler monkeys. We could hear and see the monkey daily during our stay. During our time here we did many day trips to various beaches. Our favorite was Playa Negra, not too busy and nice waves for families and renting surf boards. We also made it down to Nosara which we really liked as well. Overall a great place for...
