Eigentlich ein fantastisches Hotel
Eigentlich ein fantastisches kleines Boutique Hotel, schön gelegen, hübsch gestaltete Zimmer, Dachterrasse mit grandioser Aussicht (welche aber ein bisschen ungenutzt erscheint, schade). Tags zuvor wurde aber unser Auto aufgebrochen. Da wir nur wenig Italienisch sprechen hätten wir uns mehr Hilfe z.B. mit der Polizei erwünscht (schlussendlich haben wir 5 Stationen abgeklappert und einen ganzen Tag verschwendet). Klar, das ist nicht der Hauptjob des Hotels, aber für die Rezeptionistin wärs wohl eine Kleinigkeit gewesen. Stattdessen gabs ein „Das ist halt Sizilien“

Tolle Lage, Super Service
Mitten in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Noto. Ganz tolles individuelles Zimmer - wir hatten die "Suite Santa Chiara". Service sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt in einem wunderschönen Garten im Innenhof.

Angenehmes Boutique-Hotel
Die Hoteleinrichtung in einem Palazzo ist stilvoll und offenbar neu, wirkt jedenfalls picobello. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend (auf Englisch) empfangen und bekamen, da außerhalb der Saison (im März), gegen geringen Aufpreis ein Upgrade angeboten. Wir durften verschiedene Räume besichtigen und entschieden uns für eine Suite und ein Zimmer. Erstere hatte ein Ankleidezimmer am Eingang, ein riesiges Schlafzimmer mit Riesenbett und ein fast ebenso großes Bad mit quadratischer Hydromassagewanne (ca. 2,5 m2; zur Befüllung leider sehr viel Wasser nötig), Dusche und angrenzender Toilette (mit Bidet). Das Zimmer war normal groß und hatte einen kleinen Balkon, der an die Aufenthaltsterrasse angrenzte (dadurch bei geöffnetem französischen Fenster theoretisch von dort zugänglich, da nur durch einen Blumentopf abgegrenzt). Das Frühstück ließ außer warmen Speisen (s. unten) und einer Beheizung des Raums (die Tür zum Innenhof stand offen) kaum etwas zu wünschen übrig. Fernseher und Extraangebote wie Massage, Stadtführer usw. haben wir nicht ausprobiert.

Pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous space... unexpected private terrace in the center of the floor we stayed at, antiques and art, beautifully appointed rooms with comfortable beds and spacious showers. Diana was endlessly patient and helpful. For us, the best feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace where a sunset aperitivo is a must to watch the surrounding buildings glow as the sun dips. (I loved the elderflower spritz called a Hugo.) Accessibility-wise, we were met by a valet who carried in our bags. There is a standard-sized elevator on the ground floor. Self-parking was a white-knuckle affair for us, but we were rewarded with an excellent lunch & beer at a cafe directly next to the parking lot. Noto is so lovely and we had our best dining experiences here.

Beautiful room, but hotel quite cold
This small hotel is located in a converted family palazzo and the room we had was beautiful and the layout quite interesting (our room had 3 floors with small staircases dividing each level). The front desk staff, however, was not up to par for a 4-star hotel and the ambience in the lobby was quite cold and sterile. The first concierge who checked us in was excellent (although I didn't catch his name) and he offered to help with dinner reservations, etc. and anything else we might need during our stay. The other 2 concierges we encountered during our stay (a female and male) were not helpful at all, and simply kept recommending the restaurant next door (Retabló) to every guest rather than offering more suggestions. (Retabló was excellent, but there are a lot of other good choices in Noto). When we asked for wine glasses for our room, the female concierge said we should go up to the rooftop bar to get them ourselves. When I questioned this slightly, she quickly changed course and had them delivered to our room. Also at checkout she wanted us to fill out a survey about our stay at the desk right in front of her, which we declined. Very odd. The rooftop terrace is lovely with beautiful views but it felt stiff and somewhat cold as well and drinks were quite expensive. Overall the hotel needs more ambience and warm energy for the price--especially in the lobby. We would look elsewhere for a better value in Noto if we visit again.

The hotel is a real treasure right in the midst of all that is happening in Noto. That said, it feels like a private oasis of creature comforts and mindful staff that are eager to make your stay delightful. We loved the tasteful decor and sophistication of the building. The breakfast terrace was beautiful with lovely fresh produce. The roof terrace bar was spectacular ,with fantastic views. The only down side was the hardness of the mattress on our bed, it was far too firm !

A beautiful Luxurious hotel, perfectly located exactly where you want to be in Noto. The best caffe with the best granita a few steps away, and all the restaurants surrounds you. Warning; The walls are very thin so you are easily woken up in the morning by neighbors and people outside - but the hotel does offer complimentary ear plugs.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for town. It is very sophisticated with stunning modern artwork.
