« The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again. »

« My husband and I (plus our dog) enjoyed 5 nights at this beautiful spot. Had really good food options close by and it was a great spot to visit Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the area. Super peaceful. We had a lovely time. »

« Comfortable house in great location, immediately across the road from the beach and very quiet with only a few cars passing per day. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped. Had everything needed for a great stay and a wonderful holiday. »

« This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. « Beautiful first stop on our East Coast trip. The house was quaint, clean and well appointed. It was minutes to the town of Sydney and a lovely resting spot between days on the Cabot Trail. The hosts were responsive and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend!! »

« We loved our stay here and Joanne, the property manager was great. Responsive to all of our needs and a good communicator. It was a great home base for our week at Cape Breton. The house was well equipped and had lots of places for our group of 3 couples to relax. It was a beautiful private setting with great views. »

« This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the dishes and appliances you would need. It was SUPER clean. The double beds were cozy - we are used to a Queen size, so we just cuddled.
