This is a lovely home with a beautiful view of the Bay. In spite of the size of the living room (huge), it is very cozy. Well-appointed with tons of dishes, glasses and silverware, as well as most of the everyday utensils.
We very much enjoyed our stay. That being said, there are a few things that could use improvement. The house definitely needs some TLC. The brick sidewalk to the house is overgrown with clumps of grass and is very unattractive and not indicative of the interior of the house. Once inside, there is a small tiled entryway and then a light-colored carpet throughout the house. On a table well inside the room is a sign to remove your shoes. It needs to be on the front door or right inside the door.
The living room is huge with very large windows across it with a spectacular view of the bay. However, one of these large double-paned windows has failed and it really does spoil the view. The shade for it was drawn when we arrived and after opening it, we also left it drawn.
The hall bathroom was not heated, but worse, the fiberglass shower surround does not have the usual safety bar and when I entered it, I nearly slipped on the very slick tub floor. The master bath has a slate-type tile and some of the grout has broken up in it and bits of it come off on one's feet. My sister had bits of it in her shoe.
I have more to say but am running out of space.
