When arrived took off shoes to find the floor not clean enough to go barefoot, we had to wear our shoes the whole time. Found Blood on the Comforter and mattress pad. The mattress pad looked like they tried to wash but was still there. Unacceptable especially during Covid-19. We asked them to remove the comforter that day and it took 2 days to remove. Measuring cups were dirty the BBQ was dirty had to clean before we could use. There was a dirty sheet under the table near the sleeper couch from previous renter that housekeeping missed. The table was so wobbly one move and we spilt our drinks. We tried to play games and no one could touch the table else the dice kept rolling. So uncomfortable situation repeating to the kids over and over do not touch the table. The spa smelt so strong of chlorine we did not even use it. We ran out of paper towels and there was no back up. We ran out of TP we started with 1/2 roll and only had 1 back up. checkout is 11:00 and we got a call at 10:15 are you out so we can send in housekeeping. It could have been said nicer like "Thank for staying with us, just a friendly reminder checkout is 11 please text when you are out so housekeeping can get started. Thank you, come again". We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We replied we will be out by checkout time at 11:00. We left and texted owner at 10:59 proof that we were out of the rental. They charged us a late fee saying that we were not out on time. We were outside loading our luggage. Are we being punished for being in the parking lot. Both my niece and I have contacted the owner several times with no response. Its been 11 days and I still do not have any of my deposit money. They don't seem eager to make this situation better. There was a note on the fridge mentioning that they are 5 star and please keep clean. I feel they are unprofessional and certainly not a 5 star experience. I 'm from Las Vegas I work in a 5 star Casino and know what is to be expected to be called 5 star. It is adorable and a good location. I wish it could have been different. At least make a professional effort to your renters even when stay is over. If they would address our concerns and issues and rectify our deposit this could be a whole new story. Like they were so nice and took care of all our concerns, but nothing! It's not enough to just have a cute place and good location especially when you want to be called a 5-star rental.
