Overall we had a nice time, location and view was wonderful! The blackout curtains in the bedroom were great for my toddlers sleep.Unfortunately the cleanliness was an issue. They charge you for a cleaning fee, but there was dried food all over the cabinets, there was a brown splatter stain on the wall next to the toilet, there was a makeup stain (lipstick??) on the bed spread, the towels smelled like dish rags, there was someone else’s beard trimmings all over the bathroom mirror and sink, and we found a T-shirt in the fold out bed on the couch. We also had to have someone come out to fix the garbage disposal. He removed a teeny tiny pebble and got it running but a few days later it happened again and it was making a loud noise. It was later in the evening so we declined having an emergency plumber come out but luckily my husband was able to open it and found a small plastic cup clogging the disposal. They also ask you to sweep the floors, wipe down the counters, wash dry and put away all the dishes, plus leave the sheets on the beds and towels in the bathtub. Along with taking out the garbage and making sure all doors and windows are locked. Some of these are certainly reasonable, but to ask your guests to do all of this when packing up is adding to our work load, and makes me wonder what the cleaning service actually does???
