  • Approximately a mile from the water, Shelby Chateau is a beautiful, three-bedroom, two-bathroom property near the white sands and stunning sunsets of Ocean Springs beaches, and only one block from the heart of the historic downtown Ocean Springs shopping/restaurant district. 

    Shelby Chateau is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or week-long vacations with the family. 

    Loaded with amenities, you will find a clean, artistically decorated space with all the conveniences of home.

    Shelby Chateau features a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances including an oven/stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and all the utensils you will need for preparing meals on days you want to stay in the comforts of home, rather than eating out at the numerous Ocean Springs hot-spots.

    The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the large flat-screen SmartTV, and there is a dedicated workspace for those needing to work during their stay. The neon sign on the wall with vintage phone and furniture makes a great backdrop for taking memorable pictures.  

    In the Primary Bedroom, there is a King-size bed and a Smart TV for streaming, and the two guest bedrooms (one Queen bed & one Double) have Smart TVs as well.

    There are two bathrooms, one with a combination shower/tub and the other has a large soaking tub.

    The entire property is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, plugs & charging stations for devices, and there is a new washer and dryer for guest use.

    The enclosed front sun porch provides a space to relax, and there is covered space with seating out back in the fully enclosed fenced-in yard.

    ***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation, or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

    ***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties are allowed of any kind. We have exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

    While at Shelby Chateau you will feel completely at home and never need to leave the property to have a fantastic stay, but if you can tear yourself away, you'll find yourself only one block away from the heart of the quaint historic town of Ocean Springs. The house was much larger than we actually needed. We received notifications from the host informing us when the house was ready and how to get into the house. There is a lovely enclosed sitting area which would be wonderful when the weather gets cooler. The yard is fully fenced in and is very large, my husky enjoyed running all the way around the house. There is a covered car port area to park your vehicle inside the fence. The walk to shops and restaurants takes about two minutes and about six minutes to the waterfront/beach. It is also a short walk to get to the Biloxi Bridge, if you enjoy walking it’s about 2.7 miles one way. The air conditioning worked great and the water for showers was always warm. The refrigerator has an ice maker, it worked well. We would love to stay in this home again.

Nice place located close to shopping and restaurants. Only thing could have been better, the ceiling fan on front porch didn't work and the patio lights. We like setting outside. The bedrooms has foam mattresses. It hurt me and my sisters back. Yard needed mowing and racking. Overall it was a good stay.

This house is in an ideal location and is walking distance to restaurants. Self check in was easy and the house is immaculate. 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower, which was not an issue for us. There is a train track nearby so you may get an early morning wake up with the train horn, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. My adult children slept right through it! It was a great stay and we would return again.

What a charming home, and a location that just can't be beat! We could walk to all of the amazing shops and restaurants in downtown Ocean Springs, and Front Beach was so close! Communication with the property managers was excellent, and they made check-in and check-out super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Shelby Chateau it was a cozy home with everything we needed. The house was very spacious and plenty of fenced in yard for our pet and the location was near all the shopping and eating areas.

Centrally located and very peaceful

Property was fantastic. The property host was very very good. The property was very clean. Everything worked. The rooms were roomy. It was quiet and restful and yet only a block away from everything. A perfect stay for the weekend.

Wonderful Stay and Property

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to all the local attractions downtown yet peaceful for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Holiday family getaway

The Shelby Chateau is the best place to be in Ocean Springs! It is a block or so from downtown where everything is happening and close to the beach. This place is extremely clean and cute. Also has a nice fenced in back yard for your fur baby.

Excellent weekend trip!

Our family took a weekend trip for Easter and this place was truly amazing! The house is beautiful and the yard is massive, which our dogs absolutely loved! The host was very communicative and accommodating and we had everything we possibly could have needed. It was a memorable weekend, and we would definitely recommend the Shelby Chateau to anyone looking for a getaway in Ocean Springs. I’m sure we’ll be back, too!

Awesome Hosts!

The home was great, decor was super cool as well. The location is perfect for Ocean Springs. It is a one block walk, on the sidewalk, to the main drag of Ocean Springs downtown. Getting over to Biloxi is 6 minutes. I could not be happier and will definitely be back to stay. Thank you guys.

Shelby’s Chateau

Great location at 1 block from town so we could walk. Kitchen was well equipped so we cooked some. A/C worked great and neighborhood was quiet so we slept well. It is close to train track and trains come regularly but a/c and sound machines help a lot. It has 2 bathrooms but one has a tub but no shower so we had to work through that. Large, fenced-in back yard was great for our grand-daughter

Girls weekend

We had a great time! There were 6 of and we had so much fun!! One block from all of the things that we wanted to do and see!! We had plenty of room and in the 3 bedrooms and the kitchen had everything we needed but our food! It was the perfect get away!!! We will be back!!

Super nice property Was just me and the wife but could have easily slept 6 in the three beds. Walked everywhere to all the restaurants and shops in the downtown area, You might want to note in the two baths, one had a big tub only and the other was a combo shower/tub. Not a bid deal for us, I only point it out if you had 6 people all wanting to take a shower. Kitchen was fully equipped, house was decorated nicer with all sorts of nice touches, fenced in yard with places to sit outside and glassed front porch. room for pets if you brought any, Price was very good (we were there the first week of Jan so off season), but I was able to rent the 5 day stay for a comparable price of just a condo or apartment. Had everything we needed although we did bring our own soap and shampoo. Great communication and friendly service. Hint I went through Expedia for about a 10% mobile fee discount.
