The bed, in particular, deserves special mention: exceptionally comfortable, with a wide selection of pillows that provide a level of sleeping comfort rarely experienced. The breakfast is equally impressive. The selection is extensive, high in quality, and beautifully presented — a perfect way to start the day. A true highlight, however, is the hotel’s gym. In all my travels, I have rarely — if ever — encountered such a well-equipped fitness facility in a hotel. This is not just a place for a light workout; it allows for a serious and complete training session. All of this is complemented by the hotel’s excellent location, which is both convenient and highly enjoyable. Overall, an exceptional stay that I would gladly repeat anytime."

"Overall, a really pleasant stay in a good location with an excellent breakfast and a great pool area! You can tell that the hotel is now 20 years old, but also that it was a very high-quality hotel back then. The rooms are stylishly furnished and have a great view. However, as is typical for its age, there are no power outlets by the bed and some of the furnishings are a little worn. But that's to be expected, it's not new. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. The pool area is very clean, well organized, and in good condition. The breakfast offers an exceptionally wide selection and the breakfast area in the Podium Restaurant is stylish. In winter, however, it can be quite cold there. It's best to bring a light jacket. The location is excellent. A train station with direct connections to the airport or Liverpool is only a few minutes' walk away. There are also many restaurants, pubs, and a supermarket. I never felt uncomfortable in Deansgate. Would come again and recommend the hotel."

"Wir hatten uns ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht. Bekommen haben wir ein Zimmer neben dem Fahrstuhl, welchen man die ganze Nacht hörte. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag identisch. Für eine Nacht kein Problem, für fünf Nächte eher schlecht. Es gibt deutlich bessere Holiday Inn Express. Für eine Nacht ok, für mehr Nächte lieber ein anderes Hotel nehmen."
