„Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). „We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay. ...

"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"The villa‘s surrounding with its garden, pool etc. ist just amazing. Otherwise the hotel is really good but unfortunately didn‘t match with our high expectations, considering the price tag. Two examples: Pool drinks were served in small plastic glasses and tasted average (20€ each). At breakfast you‘d have to pay extra for special‘s like egg benedict. Overall really good hotel, but from our point of view to expensive for what you get."
