Sehr schönes im Blockhaus Style gehaltenes Hotel. Pool Bereich sehr angenehm. Frühstück okay. Zimmer in Ordnung. Preis Leistung sehr gut.

Large property, nice location with lots of dining options nearby. The decor is woodsy, up north vibe. Fireplaces (indoor & outdoor) were a nice touch. Nice bar on premises. Gal working in the bar was super nice. Our room was nice, clean and had a frig, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Hot breakfast was typical selection, but no waffle makers. That was disappointing! Overall a nice stay.

It was a very interesting place. I’ve never seen so many stairways in my life. It could use some updating. The bartender in the bar was excellent. Very hard working. The breakfast was very good. I liked that there were in and outdoor fireplaces located throughout the property.

The pool area was nice with the adjoining indoor outdoor pools. The breakfast bar was good as was the food at the lumberjack saloon. The bathroom in our room was leaking and we notified staff shortly after we checked in. We never heard from staff and at check out were asked if the new room was better. We were moved to another room in the system but no one ever told us.

Water in room seemed to not get hot, just a luke warm. There was some tiles loose in our bathroom. Just minor maintenance things, otherwise we love staying here.

I will never stay here again. I was having car issues and arrived a hour early so they charged me 25.00 for a hour early. The rooms were filthy and the pool and hot tub were filthy we couldn’t even use them. This whole property needs a deep clean

We apologize you did not enjoy your stay with us. Our standard policy for early check-in is a 25 charge regardless of the circumstances. The pool and hot tub area are under maintenance and will be much more clean in the future.

We love the Northwoods feel of this unique property! It's like getting away from it all in the middle of everything! There are lots of cozy areas for sitting and visiting, playing games, etc. Free drink coupons for the property bar at check-in were a huge plus, and our party of four gals enjoyed shooting some pool to while away the evening. Beds and pillows were comfy, and the property was quiet. The hot tub in the pool area was quite large and almost too hot, but we did enjoy it. Tasty breakfast with make-your-own pancakes (but not waffles), fluffy eggs, and other breakfast staples was delightful. And staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay there again soon!

The best part about our stay was the bed, it was very comfortable! Probably the best mattress in any hotel I've stayed in so far. The bar was great. The room however, was very lacking. Tiling was loose in the bathroom and grout was missing in locations as well. Most of the wallpaper in the bathroom has started to peel away at the seams, probably curling away from the moisture from many showers. These little things would have made a big difference. Regular room maintenance seems to not be high on their priority list. Sad to see, as I think it really had/has a lot of potential.

There was black grouting around the hottub in our room and the shower didnt get hot. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room was very roomy. The tv was super small but worked well. Breakfast was great but the elevator has a weird burning smell and started alarming when we used it. Unnerving

That when book cause someone told me that good deal n look it up n pool look amazing n when come find out went to look for the pool Saturday n found out of order. Kids pretty bummed out. I knew that woulsnt stay two nights. Plus so many ways around hotel n breakfast was ok.

We stay here regularly in route to MN, easy off / on highway. Staff is always welcoming, light food options /bar on site, morning breakfast available and service / quality of our stay is always consistent. Parking is convenient and plenty of stores / restaurants / gas stations close by.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. They even have an outdoor fireplace to enjoy. Bar is in the basement which is odd but we enjoyed a few drinks and played some pool. Quiet rooms and comfy beds. Price was right too! Will stay again!!
