Hôtel Waiotahi, Opotiki

« When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town. Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all. The surrounding area is rich with native birds...

« I travels with a paraplegic patient who needs hoist access under the bed and a bit bigger bed as it was a bit small for him but I must say it made easy with accessible bathroom and it was wheelchair accessible so we worked around it »

« Absolutely warm & comforting staff & amenities- fabulous place to relax & rejuvenate one self. Location spot on, rooms very clean & stocked well with all necessities required for guests. Nothing was a problem when requested. Definitely return again. »

« Rien n’a redire, excellant rapport qualité prix. Séjour parfait. »

« The motel may look a big aged but trust the owner is doing the best to keep up with the standard and welcome the guests. We had two days stay in the two bedroom unit, it was well equipped with the comfy furniture in the lounge, big fridge in the kitchen, accessible bathroom. enough beds to accommodate two families or family with adult children, handy beach access for the morning/evening walks. we certainly enjoyed our stay in the motel, will stay again when we are in the area next time too. »

« Close to the beach. Lovely. »

« Super Motel.

« top place to stay---good access to town--quiet--comfortable--happy staff »

« Place was exceptional. Not sure about what happens with the service. Do we wash the towels ourselves and make the bed. We went away to golf for the day and the towels had not been replaced and the bed was not made. Our dishes were still on the bench so I cleaned it all up myself. Looked through your listing »

« Old shabby unclean, broken things »
