„We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. “

„Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast!
Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side.
Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.“

„Room immaculate. Well appointed. Breakfast choices varied and well cooked. The Whistle Stop Cafe is below the rooms and the food is excellent. Great atmosphere. Carla and her team are very welcoming and friendly.
I thoroughly recommend a stay at The Station Guest House.“

„The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! “
