This was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve had.The home was not clean on arrival despite a high cleaning fee. Appliances were also dated and not functioning properly. The dishwasher did not clean dishes, the washer left grease stains on clothing, and the dryer required multiple cycles to get anything dry.The most serious issue was the ice maker. The ice tasted like coconut, and we later discovered a shredded alcoholic beverage pouch inside. Our children had already used the ice in their drinks before we realized what it was. We had to remove it and throw everything out ourselves. No one from the host ever came to address this.We also reported a broken pool light early in the stay, sent photos, and were told someone would come. No one ever did. Without a working pool light, it was not safe for our kids to swim at night, which took away a major part of the vacation.After checkout, the host claimed someone had serviced the property during our stay. Our group of 11 was there essentially the entire time, and no one came. No proof of any visit was ever provided.The resolution offered did not reflect what actually happened.If you stay here, do not assume issues will be handled if something goes wrong.
