Sehr schönes Haus

Ein sehr schönes, großes Haus in fantastischer Lage, mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf einen kleinen See, das man weiterempfehlen kann. Allerdings gibt es auch ein großes Minus für den Pool-Bereich, welcher leider nicht gepflegt wird. Die Sitzkissen und Auflagen für die Stühle und die Liegen sind schmutzig. Das Innenfutter ist verpilzt und zerfällt zu Staub. Diese müssen DRINGEND ausgetauscht werden. Auch das Gestrüpp in der Ecke sollte gepflegt oder komplett entfernen. Der Pool sah auch nicht gerade einladent aus. Man hätte den gesamten Außenbereich reinigen und vor allem die Sitzauflagen SOFORT entfernen müssen. Wir sind Samstag spät abends angekommen und hatten Montag früh diesen Mißstand der Verwaltung mitgeteilt. Leider wurden keinerlei Maßnahmen zur Besserung getroffen. Schade.

Place was clean property was in good condition. It was a shame the community pool was being resurfaced with no mention of this prior to us attempting to access it. This would have been nice to know when booking or when being asked if we would like to pay for private pool heating.Overall we enjoyed our stay this just left a sour taste in our mouth, thankfully the great location made up for it as there was plenty other stuff to do!Would book again!

First time in the states

A lovely clean property and easy to reach from the airport and all the Disney and Universal parks.A great view and sun trap for most of the day and you can even see rockets launch from the pool area at night if you get a clear sky!We all enjoyed are stay and will be booking againThe added floats for the pool were much welcomed, it could do with a umbrella outside for some shade but not a massive problem

Pros:Overall we had a great stay! Beautiful area & felt very safe. Checkin was easy. Cons: didn’t have a lot of hot/warm water after 1 shower. Could use some updates but it was great for what we used it for.

Nice house needs updating.

The elements on the stove top need to be changed. The right front burner does not stay working. You have to move the element around it to get it to start working again. The left rear element is warped badly so a pan will slide off the element. The fire extinguisher needs to be serviced. The pressure gauge is out of the green and is way low on the gauge. The seal is intact so no one has discharged it. The filter for the HVAC system needs to changed. The size is 20x20x1. I was going change it but ran out of time.

Comfortable stay with the family.

This was the 2nd time we have rented this property for our family vacation. The management company was always quick to respond to any questions we had and the home had all of the basic's a family needs in a rental property. (Plenty of towels, kitchen items and pool chairs.) Stores and restaurants are nearby. We hope to rent this property again one day.

I will get to the point

I felt like a teen while staying there because I signed a contract then I was reminded with signs in the house about the contract. Like no smoking! No ice machine ok, why not have ice cubes trays from a dollar store? No pizza cutter dollar store again. The sprinkler system left hard-water stains on the hood and windshield on the truck. How about missing utensils, fee with a sign posted. I owned many properties and learned always to reinvest to keep that earned income flowing. You may have to keep spending money but if you are earning money take a percentage out for expenses that is a part of business. The property needs to be evaluated and updated but for about $1300 for four nights because of mostly 6 fees isn't very welcoming and I understand and strive to please your guest but there are lots of other places for less. I gave it a shot to stay in the house for a short vacation and won't be staying there again. Lastly, guest bedroom bathroom water wasn't flowing had to call management and maintenance came and rectified the problem. The house wasn't ready for guests!!! I should receive a gift like ice cube for my next trip!!

What an awesome host. She respond back promptly. Love the area.

The house was nice, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful as well. The view was great. We also enjoyed the pool view. Everyone was so pleasant. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. We really enjoyed this home. We will recommend this property. We will come back.

Beautiful and convenient!

We use the Lake Berkley resort area every year. This year we changed houses to this one. The house is beautiful and clean. The communication with the manager is excellent. Pool heat is above and beyond (wife loved it, it was perfect). We will be back!

Dusty and Musty

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a Homeaway... The house was not ready to receive our party, it was full of dust and must. . The old outdated decor reflected the moldy smells.... Many of us broke out in rashes, hives and I had my own bout with laryngitis due to the allergic reaction to the excess dust and dust mites... I called the Mgmt. Office and Margie told me Jen the property manager was off and not available... she was not sure how to help me but in the meantime, she would send a cleaning crew the next day... the ladies that came out tried to improve the situation, but the house was in need of DEEP cleaning... They tided up and threw out the garbage as well as dust some of the furniture, but there was not much of a difference....In the end I was told I would be reimbursed for the cleaning fees, and NOT CHARGED the mid-week, cleaning .. REALLY?? Were they thinking of charging the mid-week cleaning?? Unreal!!! After all my friends and I endured, not even able to access the TV... we should have been given at least a night's credit as well all reimbursements....oh, but wait... they were extra generous tho (being sarcastic, they did allow for a late check out.... wow... who's going to pay the allergy meds I had to buy and the days I suffered without a voice??.... BEWARE, DONT LET THE POOL FOOL YOU.... I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

House was very run down Ac unit needs Upgraded very hot Cable and internet was not working And when was working very slow The pans very old.. and need a new stove only 2 burner work.. The worst house I ever rented Furniture very old and gross Out door furniture needs to be thrown away

Weekend Trip

House was as described but when we arrived we found the cleaning lady still cleaning and doing things around the house. The house can definitely use an upgrade. We walked in to a fridge not having a handle as it was broken. Furniture is stained in both living rooms and can use a good cleaning. The AC worked but barely kept the house cool. We were able to find a fan in one of the closets so it helped. The pool furniture was ok but there was a broken chair and the pool water seemed a little cloudy. Beautiful location and house on the outside but it is screaming for an upgrade. Will probably not stay here again.

Great location and nice stay

The house and the location was perfect for my family and I. The house was just as pictured. It can definitely use some upgrades though. The outside patio furniture and the front living room furniture can definitely use an upgrade or a good cleaning. It was pretty badly stained up. The mattress in the queen bedroom wasn't very comfortable. The kids rooms were always on the warm side compared to the rest of the house. The pots and pans can also use change as must of the food would stick to the pots and the stove only had about 2 burners that worked properly. Other than that we enjoyed the outside and the kids loved the pool. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It had lots of towels, extra bed sheets, playpen, high chair and stroller. For the price it definitely beats staying at any hotel. It was fun and the complex is really nice.

Spring Break Getaway

My family and I rented this property for our school break. The home was clean and comfortable.. Everything was exactly as the pictures showed the home to be. Plenty of towels, pillows and cups/dishes/utensils. The management company replied within a timely manner every time I had a question. My family spent the week swimming in the pool and fishing in both lakes. Stores are very quick and easy to get to. We would rent this property again if we have another opportunity to return to Lake Berkley in the future.

Lake Berkley Home

Our second visit to Lake Berkley Resort. House close to Walmart and easy assess to functions that we attended. You will need a Walmart visit early on, as there is no paper towel, extra toilet paper, soap etc etc. We did know this up front but still surprised that the house was som bare....but it was clean and comfortable.
