We rented this unit last weekend. I have never left a negative review before; however, I do not want anyone else to be surprised after booking a stay at this house. The pictures are misleading. While the property appears to have had great potential at one time and may still, it seems that many aspects have been neglected in maintenance for quite some time.As shown in the photos, upon arrival we discovered the couch was broken, with a pillow placed underneath one of the cushions to prop it up. One of the guest bedroom beds collapsed in the middle of the night because the frame beneath it was broken as well. The refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser did not work because ice cream had melted inside the ice maker. Brown water would dispense from the refrigerator due to chocolate ice cream being wedged inside. The washing machine also did not work.When seeking help, we made several phone calls and received messages from different sources that did not seem to be aligned. We were required to resend messages and photos multiple times. We were told that we may possibly receive a refund and that the situation is under review; however, this has been the same response for the past week.I have waited and tried to be patient, hoping that we will be refunded due to the condition of the unit. However, I would not want anyone planning a special trip to Orlando or Disney to arrive and experience these issues.
