We stayed there three nights during the last week of May. We had a three room apartment with two bathrooms, a necessity considering that we were five, including a young child. The apartment is located very close to a small stream coming from the upper part of the town. The neighborhood is a bit poor and tough, especially at night time (mixture of different nationalities), but fairly close to the city center (only 15 minutes walk or about 4 tramway stops). The apartment was quite large, but unfortunately extremely noisy the first night (Saturday) but ok the other two nights. Our room was in the back, facing the river where there are pubs on each side of the river with loud music and people shouting until 4 am. The place was clean with minimal furnitures and accessories for preparing meals. We went to a small French creperie one night (on the street where the tramway passes), good value for your money. Considering the price we paid for this place, it is one of the best deal in Oslo (but do not stay there on a Saturday night).
