« Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. »

« Very pleasant 2 night stay for Ladies Day at the races. Within walking distance of the course. Jean the landlady was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and all freshly cooked. The room was pretty small but it was comfortable enough for a 2 night stay. Would highly recommend this property as it is a nice house and gray location »

« Chambre très petite, salle de bains minuscule, lit de 140cm, vue sur le jardin non entretenu,… L’accueil fut bref, nous aurions souhaité un plan de la ville mais cela est inexistant dans ce BB. Très très grande déception pour le petit déjeuner qui est industriel, du jamais vu! Petit pain emballé dans des sachets en plastique, les œufs sans goût, industriel je suppose, un bocal avec 5 amandes sur le buffet, café sans goût,… Les commentaires précédents ne correspondent absolument pas à la réalité,...

« This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. »

« We arrived on a Wednesday evening had a shower. The room was spotless , then had dinner which was a Pie and a pint. Lovely dinner. The staff were excellent, very friendly. »
