Marée de la mer is a bright corner apartment in the heart of Ostend, perfect for families. Restaurants, terraces and shops are a stone's throw away. The beach, the promenade and the Kursaal are a few minutes' walk. Inside, you'll find calm: windows on two sides, two separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Ideal for a weekend or a week by the sea. Please note: this is a quiet family apartment, not a party venue.



The Space:

Bedrooms & living area

The main bedroom has a spacious double bed of 180 × 200 cm. The second bedroom has two single beds of 90 × 200 cm. Four guests sleep comfortably, each with their own space.

The living area is bright and spacious, with windows on two sides and a balcony. There is a seating area with a sofa, armchair and TV. The round dining table seats four, and the breakfast bar has two stools.



Fully equipped, just like home

Bed linen and towels are ready for you: all you need to bring is your suitcase. The kitchen has an induction hob, a combi-oven (oven and microwave in one), dishwasher, fridge and coffee maker. Cooking here is as easy as at home. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in rain shower. With a washer-dryer, the apartment is also ideal for longer stays. A lift takes you up to the apartment.

Guest Access:

Arrival is fully self-service. The key to the shared front door is in a secure key box, and the apartment door opens with a smart lock. You choose your own arrival time, no appointment needed.

You have the entire apartment to yourself. There are no shared spaces with other guests or an owner.



The Neighborhood:

You'll stay on Van Iseghemlaan, right in the centre of Ostend. Restaurants, terraces, bakeries and shops are a stone's throw away. The beach, the promenade and the Kursaal are a few minutes' walk. Wapenplein, Leopold Park and the harbour are also within walking distance. Everything Ostend has to offer is right on your doorstep.



Getting Around:

In the centre, everything is within walking distance. Ostend station and the Coast Tram are easy to reach, ideal for a day trip to Bruges or along the coast.

By car: street parking nearby is paid, and a maximum parking time often applies in summer. For longer stays, we recommend the covered Indigo car park at the Kursaal, a short walk from the apartment.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 11:00. Earlier or later on request, when possible.

A security deposit of €300 applies to this stay. A few days before arrival we place a temporary hold (pre-authorisation) on your card; nothing is charged. The hold is kept for up to 5 days after check-out and then released automatically if there is no damage; for longer stays the hold may be renewed.

We may ask for a valid ID on arrival.

Parties and events are not allowed. Quiet hours from 22:00, out of respect for the neighbours.

Smoking indoors is not allowed. Pets are not allowed.

Only registered guests may stay overnight, with a maximum of 4 guests.

The apartment is on the 1st floor, with a lift.

The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users.
