„Firstly, the apartment was clean but would benefit from some maintenance and upgrades. Sofa was worn and uncomfortable and there would be nowhere for 4 adults to sit. Front door lock needs to be fixed or repaired as it was touch and go that I was going to be able to get the key out as the mechanism was loose. The thumb turn on the inside doesn't work either so I had to grip the short barrel with my fingers to lock it from the inside. A blind was broken and I was given specific instructions ...

„The property is very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The facilities are excellent. We would have liked more shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries and we thought the shower mat looked a bit grimy.The outdoor space was useful for our grandson to run around in. We thought there could have been more toilet rolls. We would definitey return here in the future when we visit our family in Halifax!“

"I expect more from a 4 star hotel. The room was lovely and spacious however confetti which was all over the grounds was also in our room. There are 3 lifts one is staff only, one is out of order which according to a frequent guest has been the case for 2 years!! Then they serviced the 3rd lift, leaving my 84 year old parents to negotiate very old wonky stairs, not ideal! We ate in the bar one night because i have my dog with me and the area seemed dated and unloved. The food was nice if served in a lack luster way. Again with breakfast the food was great but I can't imagine sitting in the bar to eat, the buffet is so far away my food would have been cold before I got to the table!! So we took it in turn to eat so one of us could stay with the dog. There is a small area to the left as you enter which could be used as a dog friendly area.... well away from the buffet, I see that often in other restaurants and hotels! The spa area was very pleasant and a welcome break to relax on our long journey. Also the location and grounds were lovely, sitting on the terrace in the early morning sun and quiet was also a highlight. In summary dated and unloved but a perfectly quiet and relaxing break from a long journey."
