I chose the hotel because it was close to the train station and near the areas I wanted to visit. The room was lovely and very quiet. The staff was very helpful with directions and arranging taxis. Louise helped me resolve a challenge to my reservation. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area

Right in the heart of the city, excellent service, clean and tidy hotel. Shame there’s no parking available but I parked at the train station which was only a 5 min walk away.

The hotel was in a great position for town ,clean and helpful staff ,the rim was attractive but small ,facing onto other rooms and you couldn’t open the window so I felt uncomfortable,the rooms faced into castle and had a window that opened,for the money I paid I was disappointed

Surprised this hotel carries the Marriott name
Unlike any Marriott I’ve stayed in before. Fresh, clean and modern but totally impractical bathroom, limited food served in a soulless restaurant and poor quality. Breakfast was also poor. Had to send a dinner and breakfast dish back to the kitchen. Great staff and good location.

Excellent stay room and amenities great. Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast an extra charge but well worth it. One small issue the thermostat did not work properly and the night was very cold. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely return here.

Modern business hotel but not value for money
Pleasant little hotel for a business traveller in good location, but room small and lacking in character for price point - would much rather stay at nearby Malmaison for only slightly more, where rooms and chracater far better.

The prices are based on the demand in Oxford and they generally high when there are various events are held which bring a large number of visitors in the area. Nice location, close to Westgate mall and many of the Oxford colleges. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly enough. The sink in my room (313) did not drain properly and that was a bit frustrating. Drycleaning was a complete disaster. Not only did they not return my clothes on time, the quality of the clean was rubbish.

Considering the price of other surrounding options, Not impressive room, no bath tab, amenity was not fully replenished at check-in time, small floor size All over standard is high
