The last guest left their clothes near the end of the wall and we thought that they would pick them up so we left the clothes for them to pick up since they were locals. We have talked to the cleaner about the windows. There is a Britta pitcher w/ filter in the fridge. We have extras on hand but the guest never notified us.

Yes, this cute cottage is located in a semi- remote but beautiful coastal Hawaiian community. The nearest store w/ deli and Hawaiian Bar is just 3.4 miles down our same road. Old Pahoa Town is just up the hill 16 miles and they have a brand new shopping center w/ McDonlads, Pizza Hut, Popeyes, Thai Food, Malama Super Market and many others. Most guests just live this area but if you need to be in the city - this isn’t for you.

Yes, this is such a nice neighborhood It makes you feel that you are in Kauai where over 200 Hollywood movies were filmed. It’s very green and tropical. People are friendly and you can feel the ‘ aloha spirit ‘. We love to see our guests happy and enjoying themselves - that’s our goal!

Yes, it’s a beautiful area and while the trail is steep, I saw an older lady w/ a cane come up the trail. This beach is very popular for young and mature guests. There is another beach and warm pond w/ very easy access just down our road. The nearest bar, store and deli is 3.5 miles away. Many great restaurants in Pahoa 16 miles up the hill.

Yes, this place is just magical and a great place to ‘ get away’ and heal. There is a pod of Dolphins that apparently love to swim with humans. My brother in law says that he swims with them every chance he gets .
