Treehouse of our dreams

My daughter wanted a treehouse for Christmas. We live in a city so that was not possible. Found this property. It was everything and more! Clean, beautiful, accommodating and peaceful. Will be booking again!

Perfect way to start Spring Break

The Hobbitt’s Nest is such a unique and delightful property. Just discovering all of the artist’s playful touches on the cabin are fun. I visited from Houston with my 3 kids- 14, 11 & 9. They enjoyed exploring the property. We flew a kite. The boys played Nerf Wars and we took a night hike. I definitely recommend this place for an easy, relaxing get-away just under 2 hours from Houston.

Absolutely Enchanting!

Both myself and our two kids LOVED this stay!!! It was the highlight of our Texas vacation to stay in a real treehouse with gorgeous surroundings and stunning woodwork/decor. It really did feel like something from a fantasy book. Everything was absolutely immaculate! Two cots are under the bed which worked perfect for the kids. Definitely an experience and I highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

I decided to take my wife on a romantic getaway while the kids were gone and found this property. The property is very loved and maintained. The treehouse itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. We did briefly met the owner and he was very nice. We wanted to take the tour of the property but time got away from us. My wife and I loved it and will look into booking another stay in the other properties offered there.

A Day in Lost Pines of Shire

Place is awesome, peaceful, private and the tree house is quite magical. The only cons was the compost toilet, everyone was awkward to use it. Other than that, it was a great weekend get away.

An experience!

Very fun and unique property with such a quiet feel. The scent of pine was wonderful in the morning. It was a nice quick getaway from Austin for an anniversary. Thoughtful details.

Awesome Stay

We recently stayed here for my husband’s birthday and it was a nice getaway. The room was very clean and you can tell the owners take really good care of the property. Room was nice and cool upon arrival and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the outside play activities and s’mores around the fire pit.

Nice cozy get away

My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. There was no disturbance what so ever and it’s definitely a unique experience. The host was friendly and even offered a tour upon request. I really enjoyed staying here. Will definitely consider booking again in the future.

Best little getaway

My boyfriend and I took this trip to get some nature time in away from the city. The experience was better than I could have imagined; there were so many little touches to the property and it was also minimal at the same time. I loved that there wasn’t a tv or wifi. Truly immersed in nature and we enjoyed the trails and sitting by the fire at night. 10/10 recommend.

Refreshing Respite at the Hobbit's Nest Treehouse

A magical place and lovely respite from the busyness of life in nearby Austin. We arrived in the afternoon and the room was nicely cooled by an in-room system. It operated quietly and allowed a comfortable nap. The outdoor deck was simply decorated with comfy sitting chairs and a small table. Great place to read and hang out amongst the trees and the birds. We'll definitely be back (but we didn't love the Keurig; no instructions and we'd never used one before....would much prefer a small "mr. coffee"!)
