Beautiful location. When we arrived, black mold was coming out of the air vents. This is a home problem. As a result we limited our time indoors and kept the sliders open as much as possible. The agency that takes care of the home did send a housecleaner to clean the vents, but the homeowner should be aware that their home needs care as the problem in systemic. Only two of the four rental bikes that we paid extra for were in working condition. One of the two additional beach chairs for the deck only had one arm on it. Again, this is not about the property manager, this should be on the owner to upgrade the place. We did receive a small discount, but we have decided not to stay at this property next time we visit.

The hubs and I had a great extended weekend at this cabin. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We brought all of our own gear to fish from the dock and caught flounder, redfish, catfish, and a stingray. We were bummed to see that the crab trap was not there. However, the bakery on the corner made up for everything - we loved it so much that we visited a couple times in one day. There are also a few other awesome mom-n-pop type restaurants and shops around that are super cute. We loved the area and the location of this little cabin is perfect!

BEST PLACE EVER

We came DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA and found this GEM OF A PROPERTY. Enjoyed the boats going up and down the INTRACOASTAL each day. Loved watching the DOLFINS swimming past from the DOCK and also the DEER across the water. Found this home on VRBO and dealt with the managing agents from EUPHORIA VACATION HOMES - DANI & SAMANTHA who were absolutely fabulous to work with. Fell in love with the SQUIRRELS on the DECK holding their hearts with their tiny paws. AWWWWW. Will be back soon.

Warning ask about construction before booking

Canal Fishing Cabin w Dock. We chose this rental because of the fishing dock on the river. We were there for five days and fully intended to enjoy the dock every day. We were not advised that a dock repair company had been contracted to make repairs on the dock. The dock builders were there three of our five days. There are plenty of fishing locations nearby that I enjoyed but I would have booked another location had I known of the construction beforehand. The residence was very nice. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The view of the river from inside and outside the house was very nice. If you intend to book this rental I would suggest asking about any construction plans during your stay because they did not disclose construction to us.

Lovely Spot

We had a great get away at this Fishing Cabin. The mornings are so peaceful on the dock with wildlife all around. The house was very clean and very well stocked with supplies. Kids enjoyed fishing, jumping off the dock (at high tide), swimming around the dock, kayaking, playing wiffle ball in the front yard. We walked to dinner one night at the pizza placed and biked across to the grocery store. We saw manatee, dolphin, sea turtles and deer to name some of the wildlife spottings. Great weekend! Would return for sure.

River Front Property

This property was everything I thought it would be, just like the pictures. It was clean, well supplied and everything from the appliances down to the silverware were of high quality. As someone who likes to cook, there is nothing worse than having cheap knives that don't cut. If I have 1 criticism from this experience is I didn't like the ala carte system of charging me extra to use bicycles or paddle boards that were locked in the shed. If you're going to rent me a house on the water, rent me the whole experience and please include all the toys in the rental. I've been renting vacation homes for quite some time and have never personally ran into this kind of upcharge. It feels to me like I'm being gouged. Maybe that's just me. Having said that, I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

Lovely home on waterfront

We truly enjoyed our visit, home was beautiful. We loved waking up and seeing the view on the water. Home is located on quiet road. We enjoyed the kayak and fishing as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Vibe!

We fished, we crabbed, we cooked, we ate. It was a fantastic experience! They have some fishing equipment but bring your own if you are an intermediate or advanced fisherman. If you're not into fishing then just sitting on the dock watch the wildlife is wonderful in itself. There's manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, deer, and countless birds species.

River House Stay

I have to say… I came for the beach but couldn’t bring myself to leave this beautiful property! I hung out on the porch and dock, listening to the crickets, frogs, and cicadas while occasionally seeing dolphin swim by. Relaxation and nature was what I needed and this little neighborhood was perfect for me! The cottage was large and well stocked. The ice machine outside was a plus! The host was super helpful when I asked for instructions on the cooktop! I will definitely come back!

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I were looking for a close and quick little getaway where we could take our boat and enjoy the holiday weekend. We lucked up and found this perfect little paradise. Just minutes from our favorite boat ramp (Bings), across the street from Publix, and several great restaurants within walking distance this place offers it all. It was clean and well stocked with a great outdoor area as well. I can promise you we will be back!

Great little hideout on the river!

The perfect location - stay right there and chill, fish, and watch the boats go by; or just a quick ride to the beach, to restaurants, the grocery store, and more. The house was comfy and well-outfitted, too. We had a wonderful week!

Relaxing stay in the hammocks

Love this house and the view of the Matanza river. Had my own bicycle to run over to the beach and loved the kayaking from the back. Couldn't bring our boat due to the lift being out of order, Matanza river has too much wake from the passing boats to just tie a boat up, you definitely need a lift. Even without the boat it was a great stay. we will be back.

Cute cottage

We had a great time here. Not a touristy area but driving 20 minutes either way there was plenty to do. Place was very clean and beds were comfy. Enjoyed just watching the boats go by and the dolphins too.

Not just a fishing Spot

This place was great. My family and I come into the area often. We wanted something different. I'm not a big fisherman, but the place looked nice. It was nice. Watching boats come by all day, sitting out by the water. The beach is only 1 mile away. Pizza and wine/beer/cheese bar with live music were walking distance. Publix walking distance. Lots of beautiful trees. Feels Forrest back by the house, which makes walking around wonderful. Definitely will go again.

Lovely place!

The cabin truly is charming! Recently renovated and had everything you could want. Publix within walking distance. Beach 1 mile away. Would definitely recommend!
