„We absolutely loved the location of the cottage with fantastic views of the lake from almost every room. It was quiet and we felt safe there. The cottage was nicely decorated and looks to have been updated recently. Gaining access was very easy and customized to us. The owner, Ben, was very responsive to our needs. „This cottage is like going to your favorite aunt’s country home. A book full of information and a tray with local coffee and tea and all fixings for pancakes greeted us. We ate all our breakfasts and a few other meals at the house. We used the laundry and enjoyed the lawn chairs. The living room couches were comfortable .The stairs are steep to the upstairs bedrooms and would be a challenge for some people. We had a great visit in Maine and this lovely house was a great place to stay.“

The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. Vince and Sandy were absolutely wonderful hosts, so friendly, accessible and helpful. They even took us out on the boat one evening for a tour of the lake and ...

„We took our teens with friends for an ice fishing getaway. Caught yellow perch, pickerel & even large mouth bass! Perfect set up. Excellent camp with good supplies. Perfect indoor & outdoor fireplaces. Amazing covered porch with screens & wind protection. Great neighborhood. “

„Rachel was easy to reach and very accommodating. While vacationing we unfortunately had car issues and Rachel went above and beyond to help find a repair shop. Worked with us to extend our stay even at an inconvenience to herself. Could not recommend Rachel or her property enough. We give 10 stars if possible.“
