« Casita Gundry is the absolute best home away from home and one of my favorite staycation spots in Southern California. Lars offers so many thoughtful touches to enhance each stay, from local pastries, eggs, and homemade cookies awaiting me at check-in to a spacious bathtub caddy with room for a book and a (provided) scented candle to helpful recommendations of local restaurants and hangouts. « This is a decent rental, priced properly low in a high rent area of SoCal. Reasons for lower value include no hot water, no lock on the front door (albeit a safe, beautiful neighborhood), worn carpet, and design that is more of an efficiency vs. an apartment. I did not meet the owner, but he was very responsive. Good crash pad rental for a no-frills traveler who does not want to pay 700-1,000 for hotels in the area. »

« We rented this home to come into town for my mom’s funeral. We have a large family and needed the space for everyone to gather and sleep comfortably, and this was perfect! The master bedroom, kitchen and living room are larger than what I thought from looking at the photos. Every bed was made comfortably, the bathrooms were stocked with essentials, there were toys for our 3 year old, the internet was 1k download and 1k upload, so the teens were able to game with high speed, the yard was...

« This quaint efficiency is perfect for a couple that wants to get away. Though it is an efficiency - there is definitely a lot of space as far as closet and the bathroom goes. The space has a cute little patio and it is very private and secure. It is minutes away from the airport and we enjoyed the beautiful neighborhoods as we took walks everyday. We will definitely book again. »

« We had a great stay. Place was spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Only 10 minutes from Knottsberry farm. The main reason we stayed here. About 30 minutes from Huntington Beach. »

« My stay was great, and Elizabeth was a great and welcoming host! It was the perfect little home for just myself, visiting California for the first time. The property itself sits with a couple other units on site, but each unit is private and separate from the others. To find my unit once on the property I couldn't seem to figure out from the VRBO directions but I messaged Elizabeth and she guided me thoroughly on the phone. « Location in Hawthorne which is not considered the safest area. However, the neighborhood was relatively quiet and I did not feel unsafe. Good ac unit in the bedroom. Room was clean and fully appointed. It is a shared bathroom and overall very simple accommodations, but also very inexpensive. The owner allowed me to park my car in his driveway which was very nice because there isn’t too much street parking available. »

"Bien situé malgres c’est pas comme les photos surtout par rapport a la piscine. Il manque des transat dans l’eau , on pourrait croire qu’elle est situé au rooftop hors elle est que au 8 eme étage. Sinon parfait chambre très belle. "

"We spent a night at this hotel after landing late at LAX. We had to wait about 20 min for the shuttle which was a lot considering other hotels had like 3 that came and went in that time. After that all was good, check in fast, room was comfortable and as described. We did not use the pool or have breakfast. "
