Good experience, I think this property could be even better if the basement had a full bed and a microwave and fridge. Basement was a bit disjointed from the house with no steps to get there from the inside of the house. Our newborn was sleeping down there which made us a bit uneasy. Many of the kitchen cabinets were busted but still functional. Great patio for hanging out although there’s not much of a view, just neighbors homes. Lupin beach access, the closest one, was not available due to new home construction. The closest beach access wasn’t quite walkable especially if you have beach gear to carry. We ended up driving 4 mins to the Inlet Beach public access every day which wasn’t the worst but we were hoping to walk every day. I think this properTy would be great with a golf cart since everything is just a bit too far away.

Not what I expected

My search criteria was for a pet friendly home with a private pool. The property showed up and pictures show the neighbors home with a private pool out back. In actuality, this house shares a pool with another house, a short walk uphill to a shared pool. Very deceptive. When I called them, their explanation was that it’s stated in their highlights section, saying private pool/ shared pool that implies that it has a private pool. If you’re looking for a house with a private pool, don’t choose this one

Family fun

We really enjoyed our stay at Hideaway Cottage! The house was clean with fresh linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans. The entire home is newly renovated with lovely decor and comfortable furnishings. There is a lower detached level with a game room,1/2 bath,pool table,L shape sofa/sleeper Short walk to a state park on the beach, another entry point to the beach via boardwalk close to the property. Gorgeous wrap around porch with dining table, rocking chairs, porch swing and a large grill. Close proximity to 30A and
