Home away from home!

Perfect place for bonding with family. It gave us the opportunity to be in one roof enjoying presence of each other day and night. We were able to see highlights of Bohol and even Cebu with the assistance of the property's house manager. Thank you for sharing your place!

The place was well located but dated: kitchen cabinetry, rooms, common bathroom did not have drainage. Pool was great. Airconditioning old and noisy. Stove top needed to be lit autopilot busted and lowering the heat was tricky. Water shortage happened causing our guests to move to city to shower (shampoo in their hair enroute). Flooding in the common bath due to leak from water storage bin brought in to alleviate water shortage. Multiple brown outs with spotty generator (island living). Memorable stay but not planning to return. Jedy the manager did the best that she can. Thanks!

A Beautiul Villa in a Beautiful Place

We had a brilliant 2-week stay over Christmas & really enjoyed this spacious villa. It was extremely clean & tidy, as was the pool & gardens. Nearby were a few shops & restaurant - and a short drive away is Ilona Beech where there are many bars & restaurants, The property and location deserve 5 stars from me for sure. I would suggest to the owner that much more information was supplied regarding catching the ferry from Cebu to Bohol as this is not as simple as you might think !! A pdf with instructions emailed prior to ravelling would have been a great help.

The best we liked was pool, vollyball court and our hosts. The location of villa was private. If you like to visit diferent restorants and have a drink you should concider 15 min drive, but there was everything in the Villa for a great holiday. Our group would go back to this villa any time.

was awesome staying there. bit out of the way, but only few minutes to the best beaches very relaxing time and the kids just couldn't get them out of the pool if your not looking to be waited on and just want to injoy Bohol i recommend this place, the managers are friendly and help you with all your travel request. this property is very well maintained

Best place in Bohol

We stayed 1 full week in Panglao Villa and had a wonderful experience. For a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, the villa was well equipped, very spacious and taking early breakfast on the terasse with the beautiful sky of Bohol was a treat. If your idea of a holiday is to stay in a standardized resort, lying down by the pool being served international food and cocktails, this place is not for you. But if you like to meet local people and discover how they live, or simply want to have a real break from the big city, this place is amazing. In Panglao Villa we enjoyed walking to the local market and discovering the fresh catch to the day (special mention for the fresh sardines) or the local fruits (ripe pineapples and mangos), talking to local people, being awaken by the roster song, walking to see the beautiful sunsets on the pier close to the church and observing local soccer, basket and tennis nearby. Panglo Villa BBQ was intensively used (so many fish to try out) and when we did not feel like cooking, eating in Poblacion was fun (A brand new restaurant opened : La Familia with very nice staff or going to one of the local stands of lechon manok (Philipino Roasted Chicken). Going to Alona Beatch for snorkling or diving takes a mere 10’ and Boat trip to the small wonderful islands (Balicasag) nearby can be organized from Panglao directly (5mn walk). Everything was perfect thank to Jedi and Rizal who where always available and very efficient in their advises. They made our stay very enjoyable. As this was our second stay in Bohol, we appreciated seeing that new adventure activities have opened: tree top walk, zip line etc. We enjoyed the Tarsier Research Center with its educated, informative staff. Also the nearby Hinagdanan cave (with the camera-expert tour guide) and the Bohol Bee Farm were interesting visits. Our only regrets: not to have rented motorcycle from day one, driving in Panglao is fun and very safe as the traffic is very quiet (nothing comparable to Bali or other frenzy places) and not to have brought friends with us as the Villa can accommodate up to 12 adults. Thanks again to Vincent, Jedi and Rizal for the great vacation.

Great Villa & Great Time!

The villa was great! My elderly American mom, my Filipina wife and family had a great time along with myself. The villa was safe and quiet and very comfortable with a nice kitchen which we used to cook breakfast and dinner every night. The villa had a nice volleyball court along with a pool table which my wife's family loved! The manager of villa, Jedy and her husband were very nice. They arranged transportation when needed which was every day. Last thing I would like to add, booking of the villa was easy. I had made a mistake when I booked the trip and Vincent, the owner of the villa corrected the mistake without Vincent, the owner of the villa corrected the mistake without penalties or hassle. Matter of fact, Vincent and I were corresponding back and forth quite a bit several weeks before our arrival date with some changes that were made and he was very accommodating. *Luxury and Security at Panglao Villa in Paradise*

***AMAZING GETAWAY*** I have travelled to countries all over Europe, Asia and in the United States but not once did I ever write a review, my wife usually does. So why now?.....Well, There are some things money cannot buy that is the genuine hospitality our family experienced during our one week stay at this gorgeous villa and as a token of my gratitude I would like to extend my thanks to Vincent White (the owner), Jedy (property manager) and Rizal, Rosy and Tercy (Chef) “To call them cook would be an insult and an understatement for they have prepared an incredible feast for us”. From the moment I made an inquiry about this Villa, Vincent was very patient and immediately answered all of my questions and concerns. One of my concerns was security, comfort and cleanliness of the property for my family but reassured this place has it all! The picture does not do justice, it is usually the other way around, and this place was immaculately kept clean with modern appliances and furniture (added bonus Excellent Wi-fi). Special thanks to Ms. Jeddy who has been very accommodating at our every call and needs for such a large group of 18 people. I have so many great things to say about the staff and this place but I will wrap it up before I put everyone to sleep. I highly recommend this place to a small or big family looking to spend an intimate getaway in this beautiful paradise called Panglao, Bohol and all the LUXURY, SECURITY and COMFORT in Panglao Villa! Price is very reasonable, 10 mins walk to the closest beach and less than 10 mins drive from the famous Alona Beach. Next time we come back, we will definitely stay here again without a doubt rather than staying at an overpriced 5 star hotel near Alona Beach. ***Thanks again Vincent and Jedy for an unforgettable getaway, no words can express how much we appreciate your hospitality and we will see you again next year!***

Amazing, beautiful vacation in the Philippines!

Last week, we returned from a wonderful getaway to Panglao Island and a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable stay at Panglao Villa. From the moment we landed on the Island, the service we received from the owner and staff at Panglao villa went above and beyond. The villa was booked by another reservation our 1st night on the island, but Vincent, upon hearing that our hotel for that 1st night did not provide airport transportation, took it upon himself to pick us up and bring us to our hotel. The next day we were picked up again, and brought to the villa. The house itself was comfortable, incredibly spacious, and wonderfully tranquil. Our two-year-old loved the swings and volleyball court (i.e. a sand pit to play with his toy trucks), and we all enjoyed the privacy of having the property to ourselves, as well as the location (a quick trike ride to the beach, but not far from the local church, school, and shops). Jeddy was also able to provide us with an absolutely wonderful housekeeper, Rosie, who kept the villa tidy, made us an absolutely delicious dinner one evening, found us things that the market we weren't able to locate (such as coffee), and, best of all, was gladly willing to play with/watch our toddler on a few occasions, so that my husband and I could have a romantic dinner on the beach one evening, and a chance to snorkel Balicasag another day. Our family had a memorable, relaxing, and fun week on Panglao, and that was largely due to our choice to stay at Panglao Villa and the wonderful people we had the chance to meet there!

A quiet get-away on a lovely island.

What a terrific vacation! We were so pleased with the way we were greeted at the airport by Jedy and at the home by her husband Rizal !!! We stopped by the super market in Tagbilaran on our way to the property for various groceries. Having a well stocked kitchen with modern appliances was important for us. We also enjoyed the comfy bedrooms. It was a delight that everything worked. Hi-speed internet, large LCD TV with DVD and lots of movies, all kitchen appliances, the beautiful Euro style freshly refurbished bathroom, the cozy living and dining areas, and the bedroom aircons. We cooled the rooms when we were home, and they worked perfectly. For touring, we did the Chocolate Hills(beautiful!) Butterfly farm, the Tarsier Preserve, and the Loboc River tour. For 75 bucks plus a healthy tip for our courteous and informative driver, it was a great day for the 6 of us. For 50 bucks and tip we did the Panglao island tour including the caves at Hinagdanan, swimming and snorkeling at Alona beach, a very nice stop over at the Bee Farm(one of the few places no fee was charged and no hassles by anyone). We also enjoyed the $40 boat trip to Balicasag Island for amazing snorkeling. Be advised that a Municipality Fee is charged ($1 per person as well as a boat fee to paddle you to the snorkeling site of about $5 per person) Just minutes away by walk is a wonderful massage parlor with excellent local masseuses...at about $12(tip included) We went back 3 more times! Lots of nearby Sari-Sari stores to buy snacks, water, sodas and such, and a 5 minute trike ride got us back to any number of nice beaches The island was uncrowded and peaceful...a far cry from Boracay.
