« I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. « The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. « The room was clean and well presented in a pretty idyllic location. Quite and not very looked. Local pud was within a 10 minute walk and they served great food. The pud overlooked a river and in the summer months there seating available to be able to sit along side the river. We were provided with tea, coffee and biscuits. « I felt very welcomed by everyone, lovely staff, great breakfast, the parking was gratefully appreciated. My bedroom was lovely but due to previous heatwaves, the room was very warm due to its 300 yr old construction, I opened the window for cooler air which helped a bit. Hope to return again. »
