This property was everything we hoped it would be for our Winter ski trip and more!The home comfortably slept our group of 14 (11 adults, 2 children aged 3 and 5, and 1 baby), and allowed us to cook our meals each night and all eat together. There were great meeting spaces with incredible views for lively, fireside conversations. The outdoor area near the hot tub had heat lamps and a fire pit. Some of us used the home gym each day, and the backyard was covered in enough snow for my 3 year old to have an awesome afternoon playing in it. One surprise hit was the quality of the theatre room. It was perfect for all of us to curl up and watch a movie one night, and it provided an awesome viewing experience for watching the college football playoffs. We utilized the shuttle service and a family van to get back and forth to the Deer Valley ski resort each day, and that set up worked well. The shuttle does not transport children who need carseats, so if you are traveling with kids, you'll want to make sure to have your own transportation. Because of this home's location on the mountain, we drove the back way to and from the resort, which was a very easy 12 minute drive, and we never had to wait in the long holiday traffic lines. We experienced a few small technology related drawbacks. Some heating units and some lighting could not be turned off. This meant we were often warmer than we wanted to be, and I had to put my baby to sleep in a downstairs utility room.
