„We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. „The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and in super condition, the bedrooms are great so everyone can enjoy some quiet time and privacy. Loads of beach gear provided, games as well. Location convenient to get to beach, shopping, mainland bridge, boat trips and eating out. Very much enjoyed the evening sun sitting on the swing on the front porch.“

„This property was beautiful, clean, very large. We were able to sleep 17 people very comfortably. The screened in porch was great for relaxing at night. And the yard was large enough for the kids and dogs to hangout and play. The host were very helpful and even took steps before our arrival to make the house more comfortable. I recommend checking out their guide to things to do locally.“

„House was lovely with fabulous views, but AC didn't work. The fans in the hallway told us that the owner knew they have an issue. Upstairs bedrooms were unbearable. Rental agency offered to move us, but the other properties didn't border the water or have of the lighthouse. Requested a discount and never heard back from them. “

„After we cleaned some areas we could manage,we were a little surprised that it didnt say on the website that there is a spiral stairs. Also some of the furniture is outdated and noticed a chair was ziptied so that wasnt quite comfortable knowing..“
