The Space:

Step into a bright and beautifully modern coastal home just moments from the beach. The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is spacious and inviting, with comfortable seating, a fully equipped contemporary kitchen, and large sliding doors on two sides that open onto the sun-soaked deck.



The house sleeps up to 7 guests across well-designed bedrooms, each featuring outdoor access so you can enjoy the coastal breeze and relaxed indoor–outdoor living. The home includes a modern bathroom.



Outside, you’ll find a generous deck with seating and a BBQ — perfect for relaxed evenings after a day at the beach. Two kayaks are available for guest use (at your own risk), offering a fun way to explore the calm, stunning waters of Patons Rock.

The Neighborhood:

Patons Rock is one of Golden Bay’s most peaceful and loved beach communities. The long stretch of golden sand is just steps from the house and is perfect for swimming, paddling, beach walks and soaking up the quiet, laid-back coastal atmosphere. The water here is calm and shallow, making it ideal for families.



Despite the relaxed feel, you’re only a short drive from cafés, shops and amenities in Takaka and Collingwood. Patons Rock is also an excellent base for exploring Golden Bay’s highlights, including Farewell Spit, Wharariki Beach, the Grove, Wainui Falls and Abel Tasman National Park.



It’s a calm, friendly neighbourhood where people come to unwind, enjoy the beach and experience the best of Golden Bay at their own pace.
