« They converted what appeared to be a former business, and it was fabulous! Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale. »

« Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay. »

« This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! »

There was no possible way we would have been able to fit sled trailers there, although told we could, 3 trucks didn’t even fit comfortably. Cleanliness could have been better. « place was clean and convenient to trails. Floors are uneven and very easy to trip on. All six of us were over 60 and could not figure out the TV, no big deal as we weren't there for that. One of the chairs at table was broke and there was only 2 sets of keys for the place. There is no hand rail on stairs to the upstairs.Deck is large and nice to sit on.
