« The property is a casita (mother-in-law apartment) within the gated property of the host. They have an additional rental. I liked that we were living like the locals do. The Casita is simple with a fantastic balcony. The hosts were wonderful although only the husband speaks English so communication once there was challenging. « Mike and Elizabeth's home exceeded all of our expectation. The house itself was well appointed and comfortable. The AC was cold the view of the coastline breathtaking and who doesn't like to have monkeys in your back yard. The house sits on a quiet mountaintop which is easily accessible. Mike has created a jungle paradise with well maintained trial that he is happy to show you. They both could not be more welcoming and his knowledge of the areas flora and fauna is amazing. « We had a great stay at this magical location a short drive (20mins) from Pavones. My husband is a confident driver, so the drive was not bad for us. Clear details were given by Pascal, the host and the contacts he had given to us in his absence. We experienced power outages for 3 of the 5 days we were there.
