It is a beautiful place and probably the most well appointed home we’ve ever had on vacation. We would highly recommend it! The pool is within walking distance and the shuttle service to the beach is super easy and convenient.

Family beach vacation

Very nice comfy home and location. Shuttle to the beach was very convenient. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 kids. A very well equipped kitchen with everything you needed to cook meals. The only issue was the cleaning crew only left 3 trash bags, no extra toilet paper in the cabinet and could have used a couple more blankets. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this home again!

Wonderful Stay

Was booked as a short weekend stay, but due to a death we had to arrive later, but they had an additional day available that we were able to book. So very easy to work with! Would love to stay again in the future!

Excellent stay

Very clean, welcoming home to stay in. The gated community has a great pool and fitness center. The beach is about half a mile to walk but club shuttle is very convenient and timely. Club house on the beach is very convenient and staff is friendly.

Town house was nice. Liked the resort amenities offered. Beach house nice and has a complementary shuttle bus for the area. The Xplore discounts were so worth it for my husband to golf there! Great location too! Easy check in check out

Labor Day

We visited this beautiful property for Labor Day weekend. The property was beautiful, exactly like the pictures. Patty was very pleasant and responded quickly to questions. It slept our family perfect, we had plenty of room! We had a blast riding the bikes and playing golf and the shuttle bus was more than helpful (and fun.) The pools were very relaxing! We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Very enjoyable and pet friendly

We really like this area and normally we stay down the road on Orange Beach. We've played Lost Key before and really like it. It's very challenging and has great greens. (I loose a lot of ball there though) When I saw this come up on the Vrbo website I thought wow I need to check this out. As a bonus most of these units are pet friendly. We have a small dog and it was great that we could take her with us. We were able to use the club pools, beach access, tennis courts and exercise center like a club member. You also got a free round of golf per day so for the 2 of us that play our golf was half price. A couple of things that could be negatives for some people ( not for us ). You climb a lost of stairs in these units. The main living area is on the 2nd floor and the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor so some people may not handle that well. Also there is very little parking at the pool and the beach club. We rented a golf cart and when we went to the beach we parked at a public beach access that is right next door to the beach club and restaurant. Actually since there isn't that much parking at this public access the beach there is much less crowded that over at the beach club so we set up there and the beach was great. When we got hungry we just walked over and we are only talking about 50 yards. All in all I would say we had a very enjoyable trip and will look at staying here again in the future. Chuck

Great Rental and Location!

The pluses of this property and area are too many to list. Perdido Key and Lost Key are the most relaxing locations in the Gulf Coast area. Close enough to take a day trip to other beaches, but why would you? The Lost Key Beach club is extremely well maintained and a prime beach location. Thank you Patty & Dan for another incredible stay.

Perfect Spot Tucked Away at the Beach

We really enjoyed our stay; our original booking fell through so we didn’t have as much background on this property. It turned out perfect. The place was great for my family and served as a great location. Super clean, well-appointed, and convenient to everything. We had zero issues.

Rules and Covenants

No where did it say that trailers were not allowed. I had a small trailer to gather my fathers belongings. Nor did the listing specify that there was no parking at the club house or hours of operation. Washer was not in operational condition until the 3rd day of our stay but addressed as soon as possible. One key card was not in working order. Overall the property was clean and kept in excellent condition. The managers of the property were prompt in their communication.

Perfect Rental

We had the best vacay experience. Rental was exactly as shown, as were the amenities advertised, and check-in/access was a breeze. Location is superb and traffic not near like the other panhandle beaches. Owners responsive, although we really had zero issues (1of 2 key cards died on next to last day). Lost key beach club, community pool and golf course are top notch. Will stay here again and look to Dan & Patty to help us out! Thank you for the great time!!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

This condo was PERFECT for our family. Everything was exactly as described. Patty was easy to get ahold of when we had questions. The access to the beach and pool were so close and easy. I loved Perdido Bay and how we could easily go between Gulf Shores and Pensacola when we wanted to. Great property, don’t be afraid to book!

Exactly what I was looking for.

The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The one complaint is that we thought by the description we would have a view of the beach. Because of the location of our unit we only had a field view. But still very nice.

Our family vacation

We had a nice time, however, we were not told there was 16 stairs leading into the house. My 84 year old Mom was not to happy about that! The private beach was not easily accessible. There was a big gap on the last step leading to beach access as well as a good walk to the water. We definitely got our cardio work out this week! We ended up going to the beach in Alabama which was only 20 minutes away and very beautiful and easy to access! As for the house, it was big and very clean! Everything we needed was provided. The TV’s were not easy to work and the ice maker was not great…. It didn’t always produce ice cubes and when it did, they flew out onto the floor! The owner was very nice and tried to rectify the ice maker for us, however, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give this vacation a 7. Too many steps at the house and beach access! Perdido Key was not the best choice for us!

Summer Vacation

Overall my family and I had a great time. When we first arrived we were disappointed to find the pull out couch was dirty along with the sheets. The sheets upstairs in one of the rooms were also dirty. We were happy on the quick response and the sheets were changed. The living room was vacuumed. When both of the sofas were moved the floor was filthy. But again everything was fixed and cleaned.

Loved this property, exactly as pictured in listing. Loved that the property came with pool and beach toys for our use. Beautiful home. Beach Club was close and the food was well above the portion I expected for the price. Will definitely recommend and return in the future! Only thing that was slightly disappointing was we were not able to access/use amenities like pool or beach club per security at gate house til our check in time of 4pm.
