„Very Polite and helpful staff“

„Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. “

„zwei Tage habe ich in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber, vor allem das Bad war sehr schön. Zum Frühstück kann ich leider nichts sagen, da ich es aus Zeitgründen nicht probieren konnte. Es sah aber überaus lecker und vielseitig aus bzw. der Frühstücksraum war immer sehr gut besetzt.“

„Etwas abseits der Innenstadt - mit dem Auto aber kein Problem. Frühstück wurde auf dem Zimmer serviert, es war aber von allem etwas dabei. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Am Ende der Straße in weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß liegt ein netter Pub mit einfachem Essen.“

„This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. The yoghurt is a cheap sweetened option only and limited fruit. All can ...

„The staff from the time I arrived until I left were absolutely first class. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. My room was impeccably clean, well decorated and light and airy. Breakfast is ordered on arrival or in the evening. The cooked breakfast was delicious, extremely well cooked and served by attentive and friendly staff.
