« We found the Hummingbird Suites to be just what we needed for our visit to the Bar Harbor area. It was a very convenient distance from downtown Bar Harbor (less than 10 minutes) and general Acadia park access. We also took a trip an hour away to Castine to do a bioluminescent kayaking tour. The suite was clean and comfortable to come back to for relaxing, especially after we did a 27-mile bike trip one day, which we mapped out on the huge map in the suite. « The cabin was well stocked and worked perfectly for my group of friends. We even used the grill on the property on the first night and were able to cook a lovely dinner & picnic outside. « Everything went very well. We arrived late in the evening and had no problems getting into the unit. The place was very clean and comfortable with a nice deck with a good view of the water. WIFI a little spotty but not bad. It would be helpful if the kitchen had a roll of paper towels upon arrival as we did not have any time to go to the store prior to arrival. « No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, »
