Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Kommunikation
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Brda. The house is a good size - a little quirky in places. We had good communication via the manager prior to arriving and while we were staying. The owner met us for check-in.The house is 7km outside Pertrovac along a mountain road. It's a short drive into the town but you can't walk on the road as it is narrow with hairpin bends, so you're dependant on the car.The views are good and it is relatively quiet - apart from the cockerel and barking dogs next door, but neighbours are friendly.The pool is a good size - although it is quite deep - about 1.3m throughout with no shallow end. The owner came to clean it regularly (sometimes without notice but early in the morning). It is very strongly chlorinated!There is no information provided in the house about equipment, local amenities, what to do with rubbish etc. The living room is comfortable. Kitchen is OK although some equipment doesn't work so well, e.g. oven. There was a good supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and detergent for washing machine. The WiFi is slow. The TV has satellite but no streaming/internet - but we could link up our iPad as we had brought cables with us. The bathrooms are OK and there was a good supply of towels and toilet paper. There is a boiler cupboard directly above the toilet, which is not great for taller guests!Bedrooms were comfortable with lots of storage.It was a good location to reach everything we wanted to see.
