I am requesting a resolution, including a refund, due to multiple issues that made my VRBO stay unacceptable.The host was unaccommodating, lacked communication, and did not demonstrate the basic hospitality expected. One of my guests arrived 10–15 minutes early and was told to leave the property, which was unnecessary and unprofessional.At the scheduled 4:00 PM check-in, the home was still being cleaned, and I did not receive full access until approximately 4:10–4:15 PM. During this delay, my guests were forced to wait outside in 104-degree heat. Additionally, the air conditioning had not been turned on, leaving the home uncomfortably hot upon entry.The property was not properly prepared. The refrigerator still contained food and beverages, raising concerns about cleanliness and whether the home had been fully vacated.There were also safety concerns. The structure above the entrance appeared unstable, seemingly supported by a wire, and there was a visible leak in the kitchen covered with plastic. These conditions made us feel unsafe during our stay.Lastly, the listing was misleading. While the home is nice, the photos significantly exaggerate the property and inaccurately represent it as a “mansion.”Due to the delayed access, unsafe conditions, lack of preparation, and misrepresentation, this stay did not meet acceptable standards. I am requesting an appropriate refund based on these issues and more (review message exchanges in chat with host)
