Me, my husband, niece (18) and nephew (18) stayed in the cabin for a few nights after the July 4th holiday weekend. The cabin was great and had plenty of room. We all agreed the beds were super comfortable and made it hard to get out of them.
Even though it looks like you are in the middle of nowhere, you can drive about 7 minutes and it'll look like you are in Las Vegas for kids. The main drag is right there and there is so much going on I couldn't believe it. the one thing we went to Pigeon Forge to see was the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, but we did so much more. And the house was very convenient to all those places.
In the morning, I heard a squirrel running around on the metal roof, and then he stuck his hands on the bedroom window and was looking inside at me. He was so cute. Other than that, I didn't see any animals, but my husband saw a bear while he was driving up to the house.
The driveway is steep, but not bad, and it's not hard to turn around in the driveway unless maybe you have another car up there. We had no problem getting up and down the hill. Maybe it's different in the winter, I'm not sure.
Overall, the house was great and we would definitely stay there again. It was so pretty and in such a pretty location. Krystal was really nice and helpful and check in was no problem. Thank you for letting us stay there!
